Multifunction power, other.
Due to lack of resources at launch, there wasn't really the means to build mana engines to support the land. Therefore, the Taaldarax had to get creative and came up with an alternative that proves more flexible, if more personally taxing.
Copper wiring stretches through most domains and regions in thin trails. Very little of this is for electrical delivery past heavy machining and tool centers, which are limited and centralized. These are for conducting holy magic in continuous, low delivery that emerges in tiny crystal stones and emits life-generating, calming, soothing light and also affords the city a natural anti-evil ward. These run on the underside of bridges, on high ceilings, and as needed to distribute light. A webwork macrame is woven to ensure that if one part is knocked out, most systems won't go offline as a result, as they reach through all tunnels in a twisted circuit. These centralize back to the Monahven. The hidden ritual room serves as the core for the "power" system, among other things the settlement is dependent on. The core is in the most protected part of the city in a giant crystal amplifier settled in copper and silver, in a copper and silver plated room ritualistically arranged for amplification and cycling. Once dailing a new Holy Bless can be added to the stone, which is then empowered by a rule of 5, then a rule of octaves; though the room also has an idle rule of polarity waiting to be applied. That's another story. This magnifies by 5^8, or 390625 times value while retaining it for directed slow release.
Ceremonial attentions are also performed in this room. The glyphs are designed for a long term and slow release through the copper that has high conductivity and natural association with Kion's element. The first Unahzaal, Arux Vignar, and Ronax station pillars by which the webbing spreads are augmented with matching glyphs. While it doesn't reinstate the original spell, it reinstates the rules of five and octaves.
An alternate, but similar system is being crafted for the Unazhaals with the surfacing of gnomes that can perform harvest amplifications. Their similar lighting and blessing can be amplified in the same method and delivering, removing the strain from the primary system and allowing it to focus its powers on residential areas.
Ventilation is by a mix of their filtration systems changing gases to convert their own oxygen, underground current cycling from deep in the core, and external vents. Both internal and external systems feature hopcalite filters.
From the Vodahmin, water is drawn up in classic volleys while pipework improves, with other surface inlets tapping water tables to drain through purification systems.
As the kingdom expands, underground waterfalls and other sources will also be harvested en masse. Electricity from Vodahmin water mills do not go into the system lighting at all, and instead lend towards generators, batteries et cetera for machinery to reduce dependency on oil for the many tools needed in deep earth production.
