The Dirge of Dirge; The Copper Kingdom
Xorvintaal functions under a heavy socialistic paradigm. Everyone is guaranteed home, food and water in proportion to their needs. However, most of the land is working class. As will eventually be explained in an economy section, taskmasters of each major field track and record work for each charted head. Once income begins to flow with exports, heavy calculations are afforded by the upper echelon to reward the working class with a percentage of excess coin monthly. These do not need to be spent on necessities.
While Ronax enlistment is heavy, there is a strong prevalence of Masons and Tinkerers, as Dirge was originally a heavily dwarven society and the initial caste that pressed in paved the way for the civilization as a whole.
All men are guaranteed "power" and essential utilities. Lower classes share Washrooms and public eateries for ease on the system. Military builds stipends for service on top of monthly stipends of the regular worker average.

Most settlers understand the early year or two will be rough. Conditions are infinitely more stable than they had been in the wake of Dirge's destruction. There are, and always will be grumblers, of course.

Whippy individuals often become tradesmen for limited craft, encouraging external independent trade. Due to the lack of need for most coin, it is of higher value within Xorvintaal until it begins to saturate from outside sources, and thus a cheap penny in the outside world is a nice stack of change within, allowing utilitarian explosion of creature comforts even in the common class.
